First Preventers can be kids, parents, teachers, employees, friends, family, neighbors, social workers, houses of worship, non-profit organizations, foundations, mental health professionals, people on social media, as well as threat assessment teams, workplace violence teams, safety teams, care teams, law enforcement, and numerous others who prefer preventing over responding.
